Built for the Thame Community
Thame Pharmacy was established to meet a clear and growing need within the local community.

The pharmacy is led by an experienced team who also oversee Wheatley Pharmacy in Oxfordshire. Over recent years, they have transformed Wheatley Pharmacy into one of the largest and most highly rated pharmacies in the county, recognised for its wide range of NHS and private clinical services, strong community focus and modern approach to patient care.

Following the closure of the Boots Pharmacy within Thame Health Centre, a significant gap in local pharmaceutical provision for Thame and the surrounding villages was identified. In response, an application was submitted for a new NHS pharmacy, demonstrating a clear and ongoing need for accessible, high-quality pharmacy services within the community. This application was successful and the pharmacy licence was granted.

Thame Pharmacy has been created with a clear vision: to deliver a modern, state-of-the-art community pharmacy that goes beyond traditional dispensing. The focus is on providing accessible clinical services, supporting local GP practices and improving health outcomes for residents through preventative care, advice and innovative pharmacy services.

Our aim is to build a pharmacy that the community can rely on - one that combines professional expertise, modern facilities, and a genuine commitment to the health and wellbeing of Thame and its surrounding villages
